Lost Acres Resort is nestled in the beautiful Chippewa National Forest and Kitchi Lake is on the Cass Lake chain of 8 lakes and 2 rivers including the Mississippi River- making it one of the best kept fishing secrets in Minnesota. Whether you are fishing for walleye, northern, jumbo perch, crappie, bluegill or muskies you will be successful on Kitchi Lake. The Chippewa Forest is home to white-tailed deer, grouse, a variety of ducks and bears making it a great place to come for a hunting vacation. If you are not wanting to hunt or fish and if you are just looking for a quiet vacation watching eagles soar or listening to the cry of the loons, or if you are looking for a scenic place for a great family vacation Lost Acres is for you. Our beautiful housekeeping cabins are lakeside with knotty pine interiors, large all-season porches, vaulted ceilings, air-conditioned, some with fireplaces, Dish TVs, dishwashers, Weber grills, log furniture and Northwoods décor. All cabins and campsites have fire-rings, and picnic tables. We have 5 large units that are open in the winter. Our spacious grounds, cabin and camping options make us a favorite choice for family reunions. Pets are welcome at our resort in some of our cabins. We have boats for rent, a canoe, paddleboat, kayak, funyak, fun bugs, a Saturn water toy, a sandy beach and a large playground.
