For one night only Y2K fashion is back!! Come dressed in your Y2K best to help our own RandiSu raise money for Great River Rescue!! There will be a DJ and other fun stuff.
The Y2K look actually spans from the late 90s to the mid-2000s and was typified by scarf tops, boot cut jeans, velour tracksuits, pastels, metallics, cowl necks, pedal pushers (aka capri pants) and showy accessories, from furry bucket hats and trucker caps to bowling bags and butterfly clips.
All proceeds will be donated to Great River Rescue, a 501(c)3 no-kill animal shelter in Bemidji since 1977, providing shelter and care to hundreds of cats and dogs every year. The shelter relies on individuals and community events for the majority of its funding. From April to November, Great River Rescue holds monthly Pet Fixers Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics, performing around 80 operations each weekend.
