Join us at Headwaters Music and Arts for Headwaters Open Mic and CoffeeHouse November 5 at 7pm. Offering an Open Mic opportunity in downtown Bemidji (519 MN Ave NW) CoffeeHouse attendees can expect to enjoy the sounds of community artists and our featured performer. Our featured performer this month, April Aylesworth is an area vocalist who grew up performing in Bemidji’s various music programs from the BHS showchoir to the Paul Bunyan Playhouse. In 2019 she was a finalist at BemidjiSings and went on to win first place at the MinnesotaSings vocal competition. April enjoys collaborating with area musicians on a variety of recording projects, and when singing solo, she accompanies herself on acoustic guitar. On January 7th, April will share a range of cover songs from folk to pop music. Held on the first Friday of most months, the Headwaters Open Mic offers a welcoming and supportive community for musicians and spoken-word performers. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to sign up for a 10 to 15 minute set. Headwaters CoffeeHouse is a volunteer-led community event at Headwaters Music & Arts held the first Friday of most months. Fun, welcoming, family friendly and supportive, the event has a relaxed and casual tone that encourages musicians, singers, and spoken word performers of all ages and skill levels. $3 / person or $7 / family Doors open at 6:30pm for sign up Music 7-10pm
