Join Great River Rescue at Bemidji Speedway for a fun 2024 Hall of Fame night sponsored by First National Bank of Bemidji. Bring a pet related item to donate - food, toys, bedding, etc., - and get $2 off the cost of admission. Be blessed with a kiss from Wookie for a minimum donation of $1! All financial donations will be matched by Bemidji Speedway. Great River Rescue is a no-kill, 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing shelter and care to hundreds of stray and surrendered cats and dogs every year. The shelter relies on individuals and community events for the majority of its funding. From April to November, Great River Rescue holds monthly Pet Fixers Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics, performing around 80 operations each weekend.
