Arbor Day Tree Walk
Saturday April 20 Lake Bemidji State Park
Celebrate Arbor Day (April 27) with an early walk through the trees, just as they start to think about spring!
We'll hike the Rocky Point Loop trail, with a focus on individual treees and what we can learn about them when we look closely. Basswood, oak, maple, birch, pine...all reasons to celebrate this holiday about trees! Dress for the weather and have good footwear. We'll go out the paved trail but return on the narrow, more rugged trail a little further from the lake, about 1-1/4 miles total. Meet at the Park Office
