We will also be learning about the Ojibwe language through a scavenger hunt and activity sheets! As a snack\, we will be enjoying a sweet treat: Seasonal Salad with Manoomin (wild rice)! This will be a fun "build your own" style treat with toppings and drizzles! Harmony Co-op recognizes that Bemidji sits within Ojibwe territory and is working to support Indigenous nations\, communities\, and cultures in meaningful ways beyond signage. Because November is National Native American Heritage Month\, Harmony is highlighting the importance that Indigenous peoples continue to play within our business and the larger Bemidji community. One of the ways Harmony is recognizing National Native American Heritage Month is by incorporating fun Ojibwe language learning activities and snacks into our monthly Harmony Co+op Explorers event. Harmony Co-op Explorers is a free children's program for children ages 12 and younger.
