DESCRIPTION:Join us for Furr Bowl 2025 on National Puppy Day\, Sunday\, March 23rd\, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. The Great River Rescue Furr Bowl Fundraiser is one of the most important and popular annual fundraising events and all funds raised go to support the crucial work of Great River Rescue. We need you to join us in supporting our work and our efforts to reach our goal of $15\,000. \n\nJoin us for two fun-filled hours of bowling\, pizza\, beverages\, and prizes galore!\n\nPrior to the event\, teams conduct their own fundraising efforts for Great River Rescue\, and the top fundraising individuals and teams earn awesome prizes and are recognized for their efforts. Team members can have some friendly competition amongst themselves to see who raises the most money\, and the team with the most funds raised gets recognition and a prize at the Furr Bowl 2025 event. Ask family and friends for donations. Hold a fundraiser online. Hold a bake sale\, silent auction\, Karaoke Night\, indoor yard sale at work\; maybe your community group or Church would like to donate. Each donation gets us closer to our $15\,000 goal and increases your chances of winning great prizes. Our top fundraisers will win specially designed bowling pin trophies painted by the incredible artists at Loon Country Arts!\n\nThe Top Fundraising Team will win a Puppy Gram or Kitten Gram!\n\n \n\nThis year we are offering more than one event sponsorship for $1\,000. First National Bank Bemidji has already committed to sponsoring - will you join them? There are three different levels of registration: team registration is $450 for a team of 6\, lane sponsorship (without a team) is $250\, and registration to play on a sponsored lane is $45 per person. \n\n \n\n\nGreat River Rescue\, established in 1977\, is a no-kill\, 501(c)3 non-profit animal shelter saving the lives of hundreds of companion dogs and cats every year\, providing high quality care and shelter for every animal until a home is found. The shelter relies on individuals and community events for the majority of its funding. From April to November\, Great River Rescue holds monthly Pet Fixers Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics\, performing around 80 operations each weekend.
